Primal Assembly

Primal Assembly is a governance body formed from particularly active members of the Primal community. Its formation is the first step in transitioning full governance and ownership over the Primal platform to the community.

Currently, Primal Assembly consists of five Primal ecosystem members independent from Primal Foundation who have shown consistent dedication and commitment to the project, and already have a voice within the community.

Primal Assembly's current role includes the following:

• taking over the control over the Primal Forum community discussion platform;

• implementing the Snapshot voting mechanism on Primal; and

• managing the Community Token Pool.

Community Coin Pool

Primal Assembly's budget will be initially constituted by the Community Coin Pool. Each month, 50,000 PRM will be allocated to it from the Primal Bootstrap Pool (discussed here).

Primal Assembly will regularly distribute the Community Coin Pool funds to finance grants, bounties, marketing, and other initiatives designed to serve communities building on the platform and drive innovation.

Current Assembly members

1. Opeyemi Adebayo

Council Chairman, CEO & Co-Founder

Opeyemi is a business development and, brand and communications expert with over 10 years of experience. He runs Queek, an independent organisation that was one of the first validators on Primal, and has been heavily involved in Primal community management and strategic project development since 2021.

2. Wisdom Umukoro

Council Member, Chief Commercial & Co-Founder

Wisdom is a cinematography expert and startup enthusiast. He has been a committed member of the Primal ecosystem since mid-2021 and brings a depth of growth-oriented experience to the team. He runs a validator.

3. Riliwan Salami

Council Member, Chief Brand

Riliwan is an architect with over 4 yesars practice, brand expert and crypto enthusiast with over 5 years of experience in brand management and cryptocurrency. Riliwan joined the Primal ecosystem in late 2021 and runs a validator. He brings an extra dimension to the development and presentation of Primal in the business community.

4. Uche Ogboen

Council Member, Human Capital

Uche brings over 6 years of human resources, talent management and potentials harnessing experience to the team, having worked extensively with businesses and projects and running his own logisctics company. He was introduced to Primal whilst chairing his logistics company.

5. Prashant Nahak

Council Member, Information, Technology & Security

Prashant has over 6 years of business and software development experience and currently serves as CTO and co-founder of Webby Technologies. Having joined the Primal ecosystem in 2021, Prashant has shown an enormous amount of commitment, providing support and feedback across the various different technologies that we are building.
